Apollo 13 Taught NASA a Lot
Apollo 13 was a space craft launched on April 11, 1970. Its mission was to land on the moon, but this proved impossible after one of the oxygen tanks onboard failed. So, the mission was aborted and the crew was forced to make a return trip back to Earth. But this was not the last time something would go wrong during a mission. In fact, there was one incident where one crew was not quite as lucky as those aboard the Apollo 13.
