Knock At The Door
It was eight at night when Alicia heard knocking at her door. Her neighbor smiled at her when she greeted him and said he was sorry for disturbing her at such a late hour.
Alicia assured him it was okay but that she would rather not invite him in. She explained that her son was ill and that she wouldn’t want him to catch anything. “I understand,” he said. “However, I came here to ask you for a favor.”
