The Old and Ugly
John’s automobile was universally reviled by his neighbors. Aesthetically, it had seen better days. Over the years, the weather has continuously beaten it down. Some youths had thrown a rock through the glass, and it was smashed as a result. To me, it seemed more typical of a seedy, derelict metropolis.
