Our last resort
The guys knew their strategy was dangerous and could easily go wrong if they were discovered. The wives, for one, would be really upset with them. None of their wives would support the proposal because of the automobile, which they all undoubtedly disliked more than their husbands. All the guys agreed this was the very last option.
