The guys were uneasy since the car was ancient and clearly nearing the end of its useful life. The automobile ought to have been easy to hoist at this altitude. Unless, of course, the vehicle was tethered to the ground. After a few more minutes of trying to manipulate the lever without success, the guys realized they needed a new approach.
