Leo then noticed some sort of hatch in the ceiling. Leo pointed it out to Alice who told him that the hatch must lead to an attic. They tried to open the hatch and Leo excitedly took a look. It was soon obvious that nobody has been up in the attic for a while.
The dusty attic was filled with more boxes and old furniture. Alice could not believe it. She has never been in the attic before. She realized that dealing with Grandpa Tom’s things will probably take a few weeks. There was just too much junk.
