Did He Forget It?
Corey sank down next to his chair, his mind whirling as he tried to piece together the memories he had of that day. Did he forget his phone at home? Was that why he couldn’t find it?
That would’ve been a logical explanation for anyone but Corey. His parents forced him to take the phone wherever he went. But that wasn’t the only reason why he knew he had it.
