He Turned to Leave
Benny started by saying something kind that he had not said to the man before. He told him that he had really started to enjoy the old man’s energy and presence over the last couple of days, even though they did not talk much.
He continued by saying that his boss, however, did not like him being in the store for no reason, which meant that he had to leave.
