Another Checkup
The only trouble Haley faced was slightly heightened blood pressure, which wasn’t enough for Brooks to meet the special leave requirements. But at Haley’s next checkup, things would change in the blink of an eye.
His wife’s blood pressure had shot up to a concerning level, and the doctor was worried that it could negatively impact the baby. Brooks was overwhelmed with worry. Haley was sent home to rest while the doctor did a wide range of tests.
