Once Brooks and Haley did the math, they found that his tour’s timing would be very close to the baby’s due date. He didn’t want to consider the possibility of the tour being delayed, so he kept his attention on the positives.
However, around seven months into Haley’s pregnancy, they received some more disappointing news. Before heading to Kuwait, Brooks was going to have to complete a special training program.
This meant he would be traveling to Texas – and at the worst possible time.
