Frederick Fleet was the person who warned others on the ship about the oncoming iceberg, and this event proved to be a defining moment in his life. He managed to survive the shipwreck and he also survived serving in both World War I and World War II. But these events had a lasting effect on his mental health and he passed away by suicide in 1965.
