I rarely drank, but because it was my best friend’s birthday and I was feeling better than usual, I decided to splurge. So, in the spirit of being courageous, I drank eight shots and decided to send my crush, Chris, a message explaining the feelings I had for him and asking him out on a date.
However, it turns out that I accidentally sent the mail to Chris, the father of our priest. He answered with a biblical verse and continued to send me bible scriptures on a daily basis. In the last month, I haven’t gone to church.
