The Beginning of a Strange Friendship
I had a crush on a guy when I was in 5th grade, he was a grade ahead of me. I finally told my parents about the crush. They ended up befriending crush’s parents. My dad started working for crush’s dad. My dad borrowed crush’s dad’s work van for a job and went to return it and then ride his bike home. He fell off his bike during that ride and died two weeks later.
My mom, a few months later, starts having an affair with crush’s dad (who was and still is married). That was 16 years ago and it’s still going on.
