Side Hustle Culture
The notion that everybody needs to “hustle” and have a “side hustle.” Like it’s ok that we are all supposed to act like used cars salesmen, hawking our wares with no shame or sense of self-respect.
It also frustrates me to no end that people assume that because you are good at something or enjoy it, that you will also be good at and enjoy marketing and selling the thing – two completely different skillsets.
