People Share The Worst Cases of Entitlement They’ve Ever Seen

26. Only Agreeing With The Basics

In the early 2000s, I made a few online friends, and we would sometimes meet in one of their places. My parents were extremely suspicious of the whole thing, so they would usually make me jump through hoops to prove the friend I was meeting was “okay”.

I made this friend my parents liked a lot. She was genuinely adorable, and to top it off, looked like a doll: porcelain-white skin, huge blue eyes, blonde curls [I may have had a crush on her…]. I wasn’t used to my parents liking the people I hung out with, so this was new.

Until they asked me what her last name was. It was a very obviously not white name. “…Oh.” I’ve never seen them looking this cheated before.
