39. Let Me Use You

When I was 6, I had this friend who would come over all the time to hang out. I lived in a town of ~200 people, and kids that were my age and wanted to hang out with me were scarce.

So he would come over, and I had two game consoles, which was pretty cool btw, but anyway, he would come over and just play it while I watched.

This was pretty boring for me so one day he came and I said I didn’t want to play games, I wanted to go outside and do something. He got real mad, and said if I didn’t want to play games we couldn’t be friends anymore.

I, already having developed the “screw you” attitude, said fine. I guess he didn’t expect that cause he threw this huge fit and started crying and my mom had to call his mom to come get him.
