4. A Walking Wallet

Not maliciously snobby, but a funny story from my big sister’s younger years. Her (about 12 or 13 at that point) and my dad were out buying her some new winter shoes. 

My sister locked her eyes on a pair of Converse boots almost instantly, and my dad suggested at least looking around some more if she found something even nicer. 

To that, my sister just said in a very matter-of-fact way: “Remember, you’re just the wallet.” Nowadays if someone from the family takes someone else shopping to buy them something it’s “tagging along as the wallet”.
