75. Lying For A Password

Working in an IT in a call center environment. We are strictly in-house. Had someone’s assistant call me asking for a password reset for the end user.

Advised I need to speak with the end user directly as we cannot give passwords out for anyone to anyone. Their response was, “It’s too bad you’re refusing to help them, ’cause they make more money than both of us combined”

I told them I treat everyone equally regardless of income. The best part, I looked the guy up, he wasn’t even an exec or VIP user.
