My mom is a family therapist and was having a rough patch with my dad. My dad decided to surprise her at her office with something (flowers or food, I don’t remember).
He walked in on her and one of her clients making out (the patient was female). When they divorced, he decided not to add the part where she had relations with clients so she could keep her license.
She responded by telling his kids the reason they divorced was he was an alcoholic. She ended up remarrying about a year later.
