People Who Fell For Total Scams Share Their Real Life Stories

As a recent high school grad, someone told me to sit through this presentation of how you can earn $xxx.xx per week, yada yada. And every person you get to work for you, you get a share of what they earn. Up to this point, I’d never heard of a pyramid scheme. I sat through the presentation.

Then they take you individually (or with one other person, I can’t remember) and get you to sign up requiring a direct deposit from my bank account. When I told my parents about this, I immediately knew this was a huge mistake. I promptly went to the credit union where I had an account and canceled it. Luckily never heard from them again.
