There was some doubt in Ben’s mind about what he saw. His heart raced as adrenaline rushed through him as he flashed his light toward it.
There was something rushing past the table and into the open oven. Despite what he thought, it wasn’t a tiny mammal. The size and ferocity of this were far greater.
The situation was much more dangerous.
