Pizza Party
My former employer is a well known pizza joint that treats its employees terribly. You’d think that people dealing with food should be treated pretty nicely, but that’s almost never the case.
We were always given terrible hours without considerations of how busy we were outside the job, and most of us were students, so that really soured the whole experience. The kitchen where we worked was always extremely hot, and the minimal breaks we got never seemed like enough to adequately cool off.
Besides that, the owner never took responsibility for his actions and left us to pick up the pieces more times than I’d like to admit. I left and took another job and for a couple years afterwards I will still make large online orders for pickup that I never intend to get. Permalink
