Customer service is hard. If you’ve never worked a customer service job before, let me tell you that the age old adage of “the customer is always right” is very seldom true. In fact, the customer is usually wrong, and probably pretty rude about it too.

But you can’t really give these customers a taste of their own medicine without ticking them off and getting your boss peeved at you in the process.

I work at subway, the epicenter of customer complaints, and if someone is rude to me, I do just about the only thing I can do that will give me a moderate level of satisfaction without giving them or anyone I work with even the slightest clue that I’m being passive aggressive.

I give them the ends of the tomatoes. ha HA! ThePurplePlatypuses
