New Yorkers attending the Easter Parade
Here is a photo of New York women during the Easter Parade back in the ’60s. They are dressed as sharp as can be. Wearing new clothes was once a key tradition for the Easter Day Parade. To this day, people in and around Fifth Avenue New York City go out of their homes to celebrate the event. In its heyday, the parade would command more than a million people. Sadly, its popularity has declined. The Easter Parade in Manhattan was canceled back in 2020 because of the pandemic.
