A “dandified” man and his date
There were two iconic different prevailing fashion trends during the ’60s. The first was the space-age mod and the second was the “dandified” look. Futuristic fashion was suddenly replaced by the Victorian-Edwardian hybrid style. One of the best dressers of the era was Rolling Stones guitarist Brian Jones. The time period is also referred to as the “Peacock Revolution.” Men would often wear double-breasted suits, as well as velvet and eccentric patterns. The style was also heavily influenced by psychedelia and bohemian themes.
