Sideburns were officially over in the late ’70s
We saw the sideburns and goatee combo more in the ’60s. Although historically, it has been one of the most popular beard styles ever. Sideburns had only been for young most and hippies during the counterculture generation. But as the ’70s went on, they became a key feature in the whole Disco scene. It was also prevalent in the gay club scenes of San Francisco. Sideburns eventually went out of style in the late ’70s. If you are still rocking those lambchop burns, much respect to you.
