Confusion
Helen lacked the qualifications needed to be a pilot. Thanks to John, many years ago, he required her to get some rudimentary flight training in the event of an emergency.
Helen grasped the fundamentals, but she was still jittery and out of practice since her lessons. There was a great deal of confusion in the instruments, and the plane started shaking violently.
