Grant eagerly accepted Dana’s assistance in acclimating to his new life because he knew nothing about himself and had no family or friends to aid him. She assisted him in relocating to a new room and got him things to read and music to listen to.
Over time, however, they grew closer and closer. Evenings were spent walking outside the hospital, and weekends were spent watching movies. After a short time, they realized they were destined to be together.
