Hopes and fears
As he headed toward the shelter, Jason was filled with a combination of hope and apprehension. He hoped the shelter could offer more clues about Ella’s mother’s circumstances and perhaps even provide information about her current whereabouts. The uncertainty of what he might find remained in his mind, but he remained steadfast in his search for answers.
