Witnessing a homeless pregnant woman tugged at Jill’s heart. While such situations were unfortunately not uncommon, what saddened her even more was the woman’s evident solitude.
Driven by her nurturing instincts, Jill, like a protective mama bear, resolved to take this woman under her wing.
Despite cautions from some volunteers about not getting too entangled in such cases, Jill assumed the role of the woman’s personal guardian angel. Upon introducing herself, the woman initially withdrew, but Jill reassured her of genuine intentions to provide assistance.
