Bearing Gifts
Jill was clear about her course of action. The following day, she arrived at the shelter bearing gifts, intending to provide Molly with support for her pregnancy. It was evident that Molly’s due date was imminent.
While Jill wasn’t a mother herself, she couldn’t fathom not having access to all the essential baby items. She believed that this gesture would undoubtedly endear Molly to her.
