Every Citizen was Religious
Macy’s parents, like every other resident of this small town, were deeply religious. As a result, the funeral would be held in the town’s pride and joy, the local church. This was an aggressively Christian rural Arkansas town, you see. That day was a very sad day for the small town, especially for the parents of the little girl. Everyone was devastated by the car accident and the little girl’s death. People remembered meeting the child – she was a good girl.
