Then Macy’s parents abruptly locked the door. The priest’s face went pale. What did they intend to do with him? Macy’s parents exchanged glances, almost as if they were unsure what to do next. The stress of the events currently transpiring was proving to be more than he could handle and the priest started hyperventilating. He was having trouble breathing. It would soon become obvious that he was experiencing a panic attack.
