A state of shock
“Joseph? What happened?” Father Theo asked again. But Joseph seemed to be in a state of shock. He stood, eyes wide, facing the wall and not speaking. Father Theo had never seen someone in such a state before and figured something terrible must have happened. He had to figure out the truth.
