Totally Humiliated
I was living with my now ex-girlfriend. I was having an asthmatic episode, and she dropped me off at the ER, then went home and broke my phone. I got released in the middle of the night, and she wouldn’t answer her phone to pick me up.
I had to get a taxi home, and then she wouldn’t answer the door. I had no house key and couldn’t get inside my own house. I had to mail the taxi driver a check. I was totally humiliated. Story credit: Reddit / CategoryTurbulent114
