Nearly Homeless
We were nearly homeless because my ex was out of a job. I began to build a business out of desperation. He would belittle me and the business concept, berate me, get in my face and scream at me that I had no idea what I was doing, etc. If you’ve ever built a business you know how imperative support is.
I had a couple hundred in the bank when I left what had become a toxic household. But boy, I got my revenge in the best way possible. My business went on to make $100,000 its first year, the same year we were divorced, and continues to thrive. Story credit: Reddit / Magicseafoam
