A Stingray Caught This Shark
The ocean off the coast of Mexico is where we mean when we say it’s rough out there. A group of fishermen in Cabo, Mexico, found this small Mako shark with a stingray barb sticking out of its head on the beach in March 2021. Although makos and stingrays aren’t naturally hostile to one another, it’s thought that this violent outburst was brought on by an impromptu conflict over a shared meal.
