The Effects of a Typhoon
This image demonstrates the terrifying force of a storm that strikes unexpectedly. A typhoon that hit the Philippines in 2021 brought record-breaking winds and rain, forcing 300,000 people to flee to an island with no infrastructure to care for them. Sadly, the eastern hemisphere is not the only place where this sort of thing happens. Even though locals are aware that typhoons frequently hit the area, they can never truly be prepared for the sheer devastation.
