The Remains of an Ancient Whale
These fossils, which belonged to the 43-million-year-old prehistoric whale Phiomicetus anubis, were found in the Egyptian desert in 2021. This terrifying underwater leviathan moved around on four legs and used its incredibly sharp teeth to rip its prey to pieces rather than just swimming through the ocean and opening its mouth to catch its prey.
