Real Life Bad Therapy Sessions That Were Very Memorable

It’s Not That Deep

One therapist tried to read into my sketches and doodles. I drew a realistic fish, which I was quite proud of, in pencil.

So, I was told that the fish was a silent, scaled, armored or walled-off creature, with no one around to interact with. A fish is not really noticed, and it wasn’t done in color, so obviously I thought that all the color had gone from my world.

In reality, I was nervous over the fact that I hadn’t been accepted to a post secondary school at that point, and was practicing drawing realistic images as a way of giving myself something to focus on as I waited. Story credit: Reddit / Birdo3129
