I’m not a doctor, but I was once involved in advising someone to go to the hospital; a move that probably saved his life. I knew something was wrong when I saw a guy literally holding a good length of his intestine in his hand.

This was the result of a fight between two rival groups, and someone had apparently gutted his lower abdomen. His next move was unexpected—he preferred to stand around and continue to watch the fight than to get his butt to a hospital.

More surprisingly, his friends preferred to keep on fighting than to help him get his blood and bowels in place. As soon as I saw this, my jaw dropped and I knew that I had to say something. I feel like it didn’t take a rocket scientist to make that call… Story Credit: Reddit/danyal_ahmed
