A Little Delusional
There was this woman I knew a few years ago who was completely delusional. She was able to make a good life for herself, but it always seemed like there was just something she didn’t understand about how the world worked. She had a job, but she was convinced that she was supposed to be a movie star. She never did any acting, though, so I don’t know how she thought that this new and glamorous career path of hers was supposed to begin. She also told me about the married man that she had slept with: “He loves me, but he can’t leave his wife…” This little tryst went on for god knows how long until she finally got the idea that he was never actually going to leave his wife for her in the first place. She actually did stop sleeping with him, but they still hung out occasionally. fd1Jeff
