Joint Accounts

I had joint bank accounts with my ex-husband, which turned out to be an awful idea. When we parted ways, he cleared out all of our accounts, including a loan from my grandmother, and left me with absolutely nothing. I had to borrow money from my parents to make up the rent on the lease we had, I sold my car, and took on another job. He shut down our accounts and took his name off of all our bills including ones that I didn’t even know about. At that point, I just wanted to be done with him so I paid for the divorce with the promise that his parents would pay me back someday because he was a total jerk. I guess even that was giving him and his family too much credit because it has been 11 years and I have not seen a penny. crassy
