Real Life People Who Colossally Messed Things Up

Early Morning Swim

When I was about 10 years old or so, I woke up before everyone in the house (it was like 7 am) and had a brilliant idea in my underdeveloped brain and decided that I would sneak into the pool outside of our house. The thought of having a relaxing morning swim during the early hours of a summer morning completely clouded my better judgement. But as a kid, I could’ve have thought up the worst-case scenario of my actions anyways. And growing up in Florida, I probably should’ve expected what was about to happen. I was waist deep in the water before I saw the alligator on the other side of the pool. I don’t think I have ever escaped from any area more quickly or more calculated. Thank god nothing more serious happened to me. discourse_commuter
