What Was I Doing Wrong?
When guys catcall or honk at me from their cars while I’m running/cycling/walking/skating, I do so enjoy getting next to them while they are stopped at a red light and asking them what I was doing incorrectly to have them honk at me.
Was I in the road? Was I going too slow? What can I do to make THEIR problem go away? Why else would they be distracting me while my unprotected body is so close to traffic? I’ve only gotten to do it twice so far, and I fully intend to continue this practice with future offenders.
Don’t catcall the ladies, gentlemen. We don’t like it.
