Our valedictorian was stripped of the honor because it was revealed that she was pregnant.
It wasn’t so much the pregnancy that led to her losing the honor, but due to the fact that she had complications and had to finish the last month of school from the hospital, which led to the school arguing that she didn’t finish the school year, which is still ridiculous.
