Make the Grade
My chemistry teacher resented the fact that I never did my homework and was overall apathetic, yet I aced my tests. She even accused me of cheating but could never provide evidence. Instead, she just said, “I know you cheat because you never participate or pay attention in class”.
I had a project due. There was a reduction in your grade if you turned in the project late. She waited a week after it was due to tell me she couldn’t find my project, even though I turned it in on time.
I hadn’t saved it on my computer, so I had to spend a whole night redoing a project that had taken me multiple days previously. This time, I saved it. I turned it in and directly handed it to her. Three days later, she told me she had lost it again.
I reprinted it and handed it in again, only for her to misplace it for the third time. At that point, the best I could get on the project was an F because of it being late, even though it was her fault.
When everyone else received their papers back, I was the only one who didn’t—and never did. I kept asking what my grade was, and she refused to tell me. Story credit: Reddit / Darthuma
