I shaved my head, which my girlfriend thought made me look irresistible. You would think that’s a good thing, but in her eyes, it wasn’t—apparently, I did it because I was cheating and to score with other women.
That’s when I realized a dark truth—I found out that she only convinced me to grow my hair out to make me less attractive and help her anxiety. I hated my hair, which is why I shaved it. But that’s not even the worst part. I later found out that she cheated on me, and she’d done it with some random hitchhiker.
I found his cheap sunglasses that she kept as a memento. She also had another guy on the side who bragged about how high school girls were “always barking up his tree.”
