The cavern’s pathways spiraled downwards, taking the crew deeper into the heart of the icy abyss. Ambient light from their lamps danced on the walls, creating moving shadows that seemed almost lifelike. The labyrinthine structure of the cave, combined with the shifting reflections, played tricks on their minds, intensifying the feeling of unease.
