Restaurant Bans Mom Because Of Her Tattoos

Tattoos have been growing in popularity over the last couple of years. However, years ago, having any visible tattoos was seen as tacky, or something an ex-convict would do.

Despite tattoos becoming more accepted as of recent years, people still manage to discriminate against those who are tattooed. This exact thing happened to a young mother and a doctor who was thrown out of a restaurant.

Her Strange Hobby

Sarah Gray was a successful doctor and mother residing in Adelaide, Australia. She had a few hobbies that she frequently indulged in, from hiking to getting tattoos. Sarah loved tattoos and almost every inch of her body was covered.

Everyone in the tattoo community knows who Sarah is, but that’s not always a good thing.

Personal Preference

Tattoos are a hit or miss for some people. Some people love the look of various tattoos all over Sarah’s skin, but some hate it. It’s all about personal preference and Sarah does not care what people think of her.

Sarah is a very successful doctor, but some people do not care about her status, they care about what is on her skin.

Welcoming Person

Sarah was aware that not everyone liked what she had done to her body. However, Sarah accepts that. People are entitled to their own beliefs and choices, and she celebrates differences rather than resisting them.

But, sadly, things aren’t often so straightforward.

Judgemental People

The problem arises when judgmental people make assumptions or are biased against persons who have tattoos. Sarah has suffered discrimination and even aggression as a result of the tattoos on her body.

The most recent one was particularly ludicrous. It upset Sarah so much that she decided to take it to social media.
